What was once an underutilized hallway has been thoughtfully transformed into a custom reading nook, designed to grow with the home’s youngest residents. For this Cumberland Foreside renovation project, our team collaborated with an interior designer to visualize, build and install fully custom built-in cabinetry to create a multifunctional space for reading, play, and everyday storage.

The design features floor-to-ceiling bookshelves with open cubbies for easy access, paired with integrated drawers and a built-in window seat that provides additional concealed storage. The incorporation of natural wood adds contrast and durability, while the symmetrical layout brings a sense of balance, organization and intention to the space: the perfect setting to unwind, explore books or study.
